    Hi.

I'm asking this question on behalf of my friend. He has a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook (dunno exactly what model). Now he has a port replicator for it, which among others has PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard. These don't work. Every other port on the replicator works when he connects something to it, but these two don't.

Is it a known problem? Is it a general incompatibility? I know that there are virtually no modern laptops with external PS/2 ports on them, but I'd figure that if you used a port replicator which has these ports, they would function. Otherwise what's the point?

So am I wrong? Should it work or shouldn't it?

His operating system is WinXP Pro SP2, for whatever it's worth.
