I just received my Fujitsu N3510 from PortableOne today. I had ordered it with 512 MB of RAM, but it only came with 256 MB. I was curious, has anyone else had this happen to them?

    Yup, happened to me.
Just give them a buzz and they will send you an extra module. But just make sure and open the slot on the back and make sure that it physically aint there. Maybe it was dislodged.
And does the box it came in say 256MB?

The box didn't say 256 MB, but the receipt that they sent said 256 MB instead of 512 MB. I did call them and they told me they'd be shipping me the other module.

I thought I might have heard about this happening to someone else somewhere on the forum. I was trying to figure out just how common this is.

I only heard of it happening to me on my now long gone N3510, and now you.

I think it is just a mistake of grabbing the wrong box.

Glad to hear that you were taken care of, and that you will have your "complete" laptop in a few days.

    Congrats!

On one of the first boots I checked to make sure my mods (768mb ram, 7k60 hd, super multi dvd, xp pro os) were in and no dead pixels.
