    Hello, I would like to buy a notebook (AMILO D 8830) with an Intel Processor 3,06 GHz Hyper Threading from Fujitsu Siemens Computers. Will there be problems because it will get to hot? Do you know about problems that the notebooks with desktop processors?

    It will get hot, but there will not be problems with the machine because of the heat.

    I don't have your model specifically, but I do have an N5010 with a 2.8GHz P4 with HT. It does get hot. The left palm rest gets warmer than body temperature within about 10 minutes of power up. The vent air coming out the left side is uncomfortably hot if you leave your hand in front of it for about 30 seconds. However, it's a desktop replacement machine with all the power for running math models and writing my dissertation and a beautiful screen I can stand to look at all day. I love it.
