I placed an order for an S6240 and a N6110 from Portable one earlier this week and got a message from them saying:
Note: Thank you for placing your order with Portable One and the new P1 MX, we have encountered a further delay, the graphite in which will be used to bring down the temperature, needs to be re-manufactured because some quality issues, this graphite is an important process in delivering you the best temperature controlled notebook in the industry to our customers, the new estimated ship date is scheduled for the week of the week of the 1st week of September. We appreciate your business.
Has anyone else got this message from P1 or heard of this problem with the Fujitsu laptops?

The message talks about the PortableOne MX laptop(Asus W3V). They dont mention Fujitsu anywhere, so you might have gotten that message in error. Suggest that you contact them and ask them about it.

apparently there is a problem with the formula used to make the capacitors that are on the motherboard. it causes them to bow outward, leak fluid, and eventually short circuit. i've seen a computer with this problem, and it's ugly inside. I don't know if it's affecting Fujitsu, but since a capacitor is a general component used in all computers, and apparently many companies have been ordering from the same supplier, it's a industry-wide headache. that could be the problem that portable one is referring to.
