I just purchased a little Fujitsu Q550 atom slate pc, and it has an empty MPCIE slot inside (for a wwan card). Is it proprietary for a wwan card, or I can use it for any standard mpcie card?

I want to make a usb adapter from an old mpcie card or purchase one similar to the attached pic, and use a vk172 ublox7 gps in it, all plugged into the mpcie slot usually used for wwan. I don't need or want a wwan card, I do want a real gps engine and active antenna, nor do I want extra software installed (for a wwan card w gps).

    Thoughts?

    Thanks, again, y'all!
