Hi,
i am planning to buy a new Amilo M1437G
but before i buy it, i have a few questions;
1.how does its screen look like?
by a friend of mine i have tested a version of Dell. That one had a very soft screen, it was almot reflecting nothing, because of that reading with that one was a luxury..no pain in the eye..
i have also tested a samsung notebook, that ones screen was almost like mirror, on a black background you could have made your make-up..reading with that one..forget about it..
so, does screen of Amilo M1437G reflect at all..
2.View angles?
If you sit in front of the notebook, it is no problem to see what's on the screen..but if are sitting next to the one who is sitting in front of it, it is hard to see what he's been doing..How does this look like with Amilo M1437G ?
3.Noise of the Fans?
are they loud? can i leave the machine on go to sleeping ?
4.Battery Time
On the web site it is said that battery time is apr. 2 hours..how does it look like after a few months?
5.In general...do you have positive or negative critics about this one?

I bought this notebook week ago. If we talk about screen - I think it's amazing. Because the screen is glossy, of course it's reflects, but I don't think it is a big problem. For me it is very important contrast, sharpness etc. All these parameters are amazing.
About view angles - it's a very new notebook, so this problem is partially solved. I think 3 persona can watch movie simultaneously
The fan is very quiet. By the way, you can always use silent fan function (e.g. when you watc the movie).
Battery life is poor - just about 2 h. I think this is the key problem of this notebbok.
In general - it is a strong machine. And the budget isn't very big. -
thanks for your replies..very very helpful..

Can you give more information?
I want to know if
1) The fan kicks in when you turn on the machine?
2) When is the fan working. All the time or only on high load?
3) Does silent mode really works?
I'm very interested in the silent subject , cause now I have a desktop which
is completely silent.I can't tell if it's on or off even at night.
