Which Fujitsu models have those glossy screens? I'm guessing the N3510?

Go to Fujitsu.com or Portableone.com and they will tell you if it has a crystal view screen. Practically all of them do, but theres a few exceptions.

I second Sutheep post. I would be super pissed if a higher res glossy S7000 update came out right now. Just got my S7010 2 weeks ago. Love it to pieces but I miss the high res screen my desktop has. Put a higher resolution on this puppy and it would be incredible.

Be aware that not all glossy or CV screens are created equal, even within the same laptop model. Over at the LeoG.net forums it's coming to light that some P7000s have inferior, grainy-looking screens. I have one of these lesser displays on mine (March purchase, from Portable One) so I'm kind of annoyed and am considering options to rectify it. Very annoying.

Do you find glare a problem on the CV screens. I was thinking about the s7020 when it comes out, but was concerned about reflection in a classroom with overhead flourescents. Any problems with that?

Light travels in a straight line. I've got a light above and behind me right now. If I tilt the 6231 I can see the light, but it quickly leaves making minor tilt adjustment.

Thanks- that's what I thought, but I have seen people complaining about glare being a problem on some of these screens, so I thought maybe simply reangling the screen wasn't enough.

Adjusting brightness helps out there. My first 7 hour marathon after fetching it from the Fedex depot ended with tired eyes, but I realized I had it on full brightness. Now, indoors I keep it one step above the lowest setting. Outdoors in sunlight is the only time I have brightness on max.

As far as the reflections, it is barely noticeable on my s7010. Of course they are there, but they don't get in the way at all. I wouldn't trade away the CV for anything. I considered the SXGA without CV over the CV XGA, but the CV screen is just so brilliant. Wy next upgrade will be SXGA with CV whenever that happens to come out.
