Anyone have opinions on this bundled software? It came with my S6120D, and I've used it a few times, but I find it to be quite finicky.

Sometimes I'll burn stuff onto a CD, and the next time I go to read the CD, it tells me the thing is blank. Closing the CD helps, but isn't much use if I want to add more stuff at a later time.

Also, tried to burn some music purchased from Puretracks in Canada and it wouldn't let me (said the digital rights didn't allow it). But then I tried burning the same music files with Windows media player and it worked fine.

I have used RecordNow, but find that Windows Media Player of Burn4Free work better.
Burn4free is free, but it now come with spyware/adware. I have the older version that is clean of such things.

Unless you want a deluxe program like Nero, than I would just use Windows Media Player if it works for you.

RecordNow is a good sector-to-sector copier. It's a good software for burning a DVD for PS2 and XBOX, and some hard to copy DVD. it's ranking among the top, very close to Alcohol 120%. But it's normal DATA and Audio burning function is kinda sucks compared to NERO.

I had problems with record now while burning audio CD's. It seemed like every CD that I burned had a blank track, and this got to be very annoying.
