Who can help me locate the Recovery Console on my P7010? I was told that this could be accessed in two ways: One having it installed already, and two from the installation CD. HAving bought this laptop refurbished from Fujitsu, I have no installation CD.

I need to copy a newer version of Uniscribe from Office 2003 into WIndows to have access to certain foreign fonts. Could anyone point me to the Recovery Console?

You're certain they didn't send you a restore disk? Even for a refurb that makes no sense. It's not on a partition, so you really don't have any other choice.

It came with no disk. It did come with an image, though. But I am not really sure how to extract the Recovery Console from the image.

Putting it on a disk was the first things I did. Usings ghost. But making that disk act as an install disk right off the media is another story.

Well, I'd contact Fujitsu and demand a restore disk.
