The Omnipass security PW on my daughter's laptop does not work anymore. We took the laptop away from her several months ago for misuse and at that time she said she removed her PW. Now we'd like to put the laptop back in operation but the software does not recognize her thumb print or the old PW. Any suggestion on how to get it back in operation?

The generic thing to do is a factory reinstall, but that isn't too helpful if you want to keep your current info. You could boot with a linux livecd, get info and then reinstall. Other than that, I got nothing...good luck.

Sorry, but we cannot allow discussion on bypassing security measures. Contact Fujitsu, who can probably help you.
