    Hello

I have sent the Acer TM3201 back and might get a S6120

The question is when the screen resolution is dropped to 800 x 600 does the screen adapt and everything becomes larger or does the window have black borders around it?

I have poor vision but require a thin and light laptop

    Cheers for any help

Why not get an S7000. Its a little bigger and not really heavier.

Ill tell you the best thing to do. Leave your monitor at its native resolution... 1024x768.

Go to display properties where you change your resolution. Click on advanced. Under general change the DPI (dots per inch) to 120 or greater to compensate. This is the best way. Try that and see how it goes.

800x600 will not leave borders. Everything is scaled up.

It won't leave borders, but it will be fuzzy. You should never use a non native resolution with a notebook display unless you cut it exactly in half. You can do this will Dell's ultra sharp displays.
