    Quote (from your website):
I can seem to get the touchpad disable, when USB mouse plug-in, the mouse drivers seem to indicate that you can do this, but I still cannot figure out how to get this thing working.

Did you try Fn+F4? It works for me.

Um, haven't try that, but I thought, w/ the driver coming from the manufacturor, it should disable the touchpad, when the USB mouse plug-in, not when I hit the combo key. My point is that, you not only install the driver, but also having their software running in the background, eating my CPU cycle and memory, and yet the software still doesn't work as suppose to. Sorry, but that's lame.[ :(!] Not to mention, their software seem to crash, when I logging off/poweroff. something that have to do w/ USB thing. The crash may have something to do w/ StyleXP I installed, but aside from that, it still doesn't work.[ :(!][ :(!]

I have the basic microsoft optical mouse and i didnt install any software or drivers. I just plugged the mouse into the usb port and it worked. I can turn off the touch pad by Fn+F4. Why dont you just do that. Its not a big deal.

I'm not saying it's a big deal, I just thought, why these things don't work the way they suppose to. If you pay the money for it(your own hard earn money), don't you want your laptop works the way it suppose to? Not everybody is Bills Gate you know.

I hear ya. It would be nice if these things would alwasy just work right away. I will try to install the the drivers that came with my mouse and see if it will turn off the touchpad when the mouse is plugged in.

Just Mouse Properties by double clicking the touch pad taskbar icon or in Control Panel. Go to the USB mouse connection. Set to "Touchpad is automatically invalidated". No problems on my 6210.
