I was wondering if anyone can tell me what display resolution and color bit depth combinations are possible when running a S6210/6220 in a dual extended desktop mode (where you're using an external monitor and the internal display at the same time, but not mirrored displays)? I noticed some literature mentions that 1024 x 768 at 16M colors is possible between the two displays, but what if the external display is set to 1280 x 1024 at a lesser color bit depth, what will the computer allow for the internal (laptop) display?

My instruction manual for my S6210 says if you are using two monitors at once, the highest resolution is 1024x768..which leads me to believe that if you are using both displays simutaniously that the max output can be only what the LCD is capable of handeling.. anyone here that knows this foresure, please step in?

I was hoping someone here has an external monitor hooked up to their S6210/6220 and take a look at what resolutions are possible when the extended desktop display is enabled. [
