    Sup Ya'll,

Can someone please post pictures of the 6210 so I can get an idea of how large it is?

    Also,

Is the Dothan upgrade through portable one worth the extra $250???

    Thanks!

    Thats a very nice link.
I was going to post some pictures of mine, but now I dont need to.
No, the dothan upgrade is not worth $250, as most everyone will tell you.

    Any more questions?

The DOthan upgrade may be worth it, but I'd call it not needed for most.

There would only be a noticable difference if you're doing processor intense tasks. For general web, office and email use, the extra $250 or so is not worth spending. You're better off getting at least 512MB RAM and a faster hard disk.

When you buy, check out www.portableone.com. They have good service and better prices.

    this computer looks awesome...

    thanks for the help!

Would there be a noticeable speed increase if I upgrade to the dothan? what exactly does 2mb L2 cache mean?

    Thanks again!

    Thanks ya'll...

So would it improve video game performance? like, would it play UT2004 better? (how is UT on the s6210 anyway...)

Oh, and I will ABSOLUTELY purchase from portable one. I will be getting the $1499 base model, plus the 7200rpm hard drive and 768mg RAM...I was just wondering if the dothan 735 is worth the $250...

Run1track: I think everyone would benefit from fresh, real life photos of the S6210!

Dedicated RAM would make the game play better a lot more than Dothan. I'm sure Dothan will help a little, but I don't think it would be much of an aid.

If your doing word processing, internet work, email, watching DVDs, listening to music, some photography, and instant messenging- which configuration on the S6210 would be the best bang for your buck, focusing on a fast system?
