I've been looking around the fujitsu forum and noticed several mention of fujitsu updating the S- series in the coming months. Are the S6210 being sold now the updated version? Thx for the reply.

yes the 6210 is the new model the 6120 was the old model. Seems kinda stupid to use such a similar yet mixed up number system maybe a way to dunmp the old units on the uninformed.

The new 6210 has the crystalview screen

Yes, it is confusing. As Packrat sais, be sure to check the model numbers when you buy, old units are still out there. The S6210 will also see a Dothan upgrade in the next several weeks most likely, so you may consider holding out for that if you care much about the new processor.

    Thx for the clarification:

portableone says they'll ship the S6210 around mid June and Panasonic Y2 at the end of June.

surprised to hear this. Here is what PortableOne has on their site for the past week regarding the S6210:

** Free 2 Day Shipping (When it ships)
Please allow 5 to 7 business days to recieve

seems kinda stupid to offer free 2 days shipping when it takes 5-7 days to receive. What you are really getting is free 5-7 day shipping.

But my point is they have published this information for a week so those who placed orders on day 1 should have received them by now. If they are telling you mid June they should change this information on their site. Newegg.com has them but don't buy from them I can tell you from experience their exchange policy is call fujitsu.

So if I order the S6210 from PortableOne, when will I get it.
Will it be one week, or will it be mid june?
Is this the best place to buy it?

    Thanks in advance?

Yes, ProPortable is the best place to buy. As for shipping date, you'll need to confirm with them. I'm quite certain they do not yet have stock from Fujitsu yet. Call tomorrow and ask for Ivan. Tell him I told you to call.
