    S6231 Lifebook, how to fix loose hinges on LCD?

    While the LCD is still adjustable and it still manages to hold for now. But it seems the hinges are getting loose, is this repairable ?

    Maybe. On my N5010 there are two plastic pieces that cover the clamps that hold the lcd to the rest of the laptop. Remove those two covers (mine slide out sideways) and you expose some screws that you might try twisting on to tighten up your screen. I would suppose that if you twist them TOO tight something might break, so go easy on it at first. Good luck.
