Ok - Here's the deal. There are three things that set this notebook apart from all others on the market: (1) the screen (2) the screen (3) the screen.

I purchased mine at Fry's two days ago. I'm still in awe of the screen. The thing about Fry's is - I was able to compare the HP and Sony "bright" versions directly with the S6231. The winner was declared in less than one minutes. It is that obvious. Fujitsu has mastered the LCD screen, no doubt about it. I have also confirmed that this screen is readable outdoors, even in sunlight. Reflection is there, sure, but nothing like on the Sony and HP bright screens.

Keyboard "flex" - non issue. I love the keyboard. Similar to my Viao R505 in feel. I also checked out the new Sony and Apple keyboards at Fry's - same kind of feel. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Everything else is gravy - the perfect size and weight, the built in WiFi, and the DVD burner.

    Nuff said...Great job Fujitsu!!

Heh, another happy owner of a relatively unknown model. Sad that Fujitsu doesn't have better brand awareness here. Although, maybe if they made more of them faster the quality would go down and support would suffer. I like our exclusive club!
