Hey, i have an S6231. I've used the memory card reader a lot with my 256M memory stick pro, and it worked great. Showed up as a hard drive.

Just bought a new 2GB memory stick pro, and when i put it in the reader, i hear the "boing boing" noise of WinXP recognizing a new peripheral, but it doesn't show up in the drive list or in the Disk Management either.

Any ideas why? I'd hate to have to buy a PCMCIA reader for some reason or another. The 256M still works fine!
Oh, in the "hardware removal" thingy in winXP, it shows the PCMCIA IDE/ATAPI controller when i put the memory stick in.

    thanks
    jason

Just thought i'd update everyone. After putzing with this for about 2 hours last night, installing drivers from other computers that use the same card reader, and it still not working, i reinstalled the original drivers i downloaded from fujitsu, and TA DA'! it works!
don't ask me why...but it does and i'm happy.
