    S6231 with external LCD monitor?

    I am thinking of getting an external monitor. The manual says the S6231 supports 1024 x 768 internally and 1600 x 1200 externall.

    Does this mean MAXIMUM or that that is the only external resoultion it will support. Eg can it support a monitor with 1440 x 900 resolution ?

    If you plug an external monitor, Yes it can display 1440 x 900 up to 1600 x 1200. However, if you want to display it simultaneously (LCD & external monitor) the max resolution is 1024 x 768.
