I'm not sure if it's a bug, but I put my notebook in hibernation (waited for the screen to turn black) then placed it inside a thick notebook sleeve & inside my bag. While walking, I noticed my bag getting a bit warm, & when I opened the sleeve, my notebook was booted and waiting for my password. The battery was also close to dead and the notebook was already hot from being cooped inside the sleeve while on boot for a while.

Is this a bug with Fujitsus? Or just a Windows setting thing? I'm a little scared I'll kill my notebook in the future if this happens again. Do I need to update something?

    1. Vista's default hibernation is not the same as XP since it is only sleeping. Make sure it is genuinely switching off completely.

    2. Go into Device Manager and check the power options for the hardware. Some devices, such as the network card, may be able to wake up a hibernating computer. Make sure any wake on sleep or hibernation is disabled. Also check the BIOS for similar options.

Yeah, the notebook options for Vista are a little bit different. I just got a Vista notebook yesterday but if you double click on the battery in the taskbar and go through the options there it's not too hard to change the hibernation and sleep options. :)

    My OS is still XP.
I'll try checking the power options, though. Thanks!
