Does anyone know if Fujitsu plan to refresh the S6510 line with the new Intel Penryn processors? Just trying to minimize buyer's remorse before pulling the trigger on a S6510.

So does this mean they're bringing that over to the US? I'm also itching to buy an S6510, but the thought of a Penryn update in the coming months is killing me. Looking for a definitive answer.

There will always be an update around the corner. Buy it when you need it, and don't worry about it.

The older MG75 model in Japan is the S6510. Since Fujitsu are selling the S6xxx line in the US, sooner or later that MG90 will make it over. However, other than Penryn, there doesn't seem to be any compelling reason to wait.

I am going to see if I can convince Fujtsu to allow me to switch my laptop for a new S6510 model with the new Penryn processor instead of the Fujitsu P8010.

I was told by my local distributor of Fujitsu that the refresh of S6510 to use Penryn will be somewhere around May/June 2008. More information will be available in May. Same goes for S7210/S7211
