I've been waiting for over a week now for my S6230, I wish portable one ship to Asia Pacific. Well, my dealer called up he said S6230 won't come in till mid-april. arrgh!! Now he tells me to take the S7010(CV) the specs are
    1.6mhz (Dothan)
    1G Ram
    80G HDD
    CDRW
    14.1"
    Finger print scanner,
    SD slot,
and he said he will throw in the dockings.
    US$2,000.00

Do you think it's worth? The S6230 specs was
1.6mhz (Dothan), 512mb Ram, 60G HDD, CDRW and CV Screen 13.3" at about US1,750.00

What do you think? Should i wait for the S6230 or go ahead with S7010. Is there any problem with S7010? Please comment..

There are no problems with the S7, but users seem to prefer the S6 for some reason. I think it's more popular because it is slightly smaller.

Cannot you go and see the units side by side at some retail store?
Personally I have never seen an S7, so I cannot really tell if I saw any issues with it. But I loved the S6's size and portability!

And the S7 is very close to being replaced globally, we've already seen the specs in Germany. Are you really dealing direct with Fujitsu? This service you're getting is terrible.

Yes I am dealing with Fujitsu directly. Man, it's been a really bad experience. Over a week I don't have a laptop in my hand. grrr, really don't feel like going with another brand. SAD!

check the specs on the Fujitsu website. Aside from screen size both models have subtle differnces, that may make you like one more than the other.

Also, if you are no hurry to get a notebook, I'd wait.

Well i'm going to talk to the manager tomorrow. Let's see what happen. Will keep you updated. Stupid salesperson, bullsh*ting me about that the laptops are finished, no more left 4 weeks until new lot comes in. So wish me the Best...
