When i cold boot i get scroll lock, number lock and caps lock flashin on my indicator panel. They will flash forever. Once a second. Screen is blank. No bios post screen is seen. Vents are at full speed. Hdd spins up. Hdd and ram seem to be ok. Tested them in other machine. Reflashing bios didnt help either. If i hold down the power button and power up agian it boots normally. Sometimes when it still fials i have to take battery out and put it back in to boot. Battery seems to be ok also. Batterylife 3,5-5h depending on usage.

When i just restart or sut down and start again when the laptop is warm there are no problems..

Does anyone know how to fix it? Local service told me that they can order new motherboard, but it costs half the laptop price lol.. So no way... What can cause this? Also is there a way to read out CPU temp on newer version s7020D? I still haven't found the way to do it.

EDIT: Updated to bios 1.09... Wierd.. official bios for this version is 1.05 lol... and 1.07 for the older revision.

HP Omnibook 6000; Intel Celeron; 192MB RAM.

Stress test passes all hardware. Memtest passes RAM. Flashed/Upgraded BIOS successfully. Random system deadlocks require hard reboot. Reboot success is hit or miss, misses consist of fan running constantly, no graphics, and no Ctrl+Alt+Del. Hit chances increase when the computer is held at weird angles when pressing power switch. :twitcy:
