Hi! after successfully installing Opensuse 10.3 as an alternative os to win.xp.
I have this problem whereby the LCD screen is projecting a very high contrast and it hurts my eye after looking at it. I have tried to adjust the contrast level but I couldnt find the correct settings in the monitor / video settings. There were many Fujitsu models but none has S7211 on it.

Can someone kindly help me? Thanks
    David

    Dave,

I've had ubuntu 7.10 installed on a s7211 before and had no problems with the display. Maybe something is not setting right in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf . Have you tried asking someone in the Linux forum instead? Good luck!
