    Hi,

    I'm thinking about buying a Lifebook E 8410.

As I have to read through large documents while I'm away (and I don't like to use the arrow keys /pg down etc), a scroll function at the touchpad (like you find at the HP Compaq notebooks) is really usefull for me.

I have read in the factsheet of the E 8410 something about a "Scroll-Button" at the touchpad. Can anybody tell me how it works and how handy it is? Is this just the button in the middle and you have to press is it while moving your another finger over the touchpad? Or can scroll down by just using one finger?

    Thanks!

I think and I am not 100% sure Fujitsu integrates the scroll function into the fingerprint reader. When you swipe you finger across the reader, it scrolls the document. That's the way it was on the A3130 I saw. I personally found it worked OK, nothing great. Sometimes the swipe didn't register when I swiped. That's my 2 cents anyway. Of course ordering the higher resolution WSXGA+ screen would give you more real estate to to view documents if your eyes can take it.
