ok, why is FUJITSU so much more pricier than other laptop but have low specs on them. Let me clarify that: There is Sony, Dell, Toshiba, hp etc all have great specs on them depending on which one let say the higher end ones. But they are nothing compare to the prices that FUJITSU has on theirs. why is that?
My fren emailed me the other day showing me a laptop from sony with high specs (features) than mine and costed a little less. HE mention that I got ripped off@!!@! uggh I was mad AT HIM. He also said that the specs on my laptop was basic and the laptop overall it had nothing special about it and why did I buy it such at a high price! I thought it over and I have no idea why also.

well my point here is, why does it cost so much more than all the other laptops in stores?
what makes FUJITSU so much more diffrent, unique whatever u want to call it?
    thanks

Was it a sony model that was being at the end of its shelf life, I mean being replaced. Cause Sony seem to be replacing their models every other day.
I remember I eyed their S series for a while and it got almost 3 upgrades in one year! Hell they upgraded it after the sonoma twice, the first time they missed out on the sonoma for some reason, although the japanese model had sonoma, and then they introduced the sonoma in it only WEEKs later!!!

I don't know about the Sony,Toshiba,or the HP. But I can tell you that my N6010 is made a heck of a lot better that my Dell 8600. There is just no comparison in build quality. The N6010 has a better screen, keyboard, speakers,chassis...etc. The Dell just feels flimsy compared to my N6010. Thats not to say that I haven't had any issues with my Fujitsu. But I could have had the same problems with any other laptop. Could I have saved money? Sure, but I doubt I would have been as satisfied.[8D]

I agree with letsrock 110%. My N6010 is so superior in quality to my Dell i8600 that it's like comparing a real lawnn mower to the plastic bubble mowers they sell for kids to push around and pretend to be like daddy. Well worth an extra 100 or 200 if you ask me (although when I bought my 8600 last year I spent more for itt than the 6010)

Your question is too simplistic in nature. You can't compare two notebooks on specs alone. There are several other concerns like build quality and support. Would you have the same concern if your fried bought a Ford Focus and claimed you overpaid for your Audi A4? Both are cars with 4 doors, AC and power windows...Ok, the A4 has AWD and a turbo, but I hope you get my point.

I did look at various notebook manufacturers before I purchased my N6010. 17" notebooks, Intel DTR processor, 512MB or 1GB, a R9700 128MB or something equivalent for NVidia.

    Basicaly,
Sony 17" notebooks were very pricy. about 3K
    Toshiba Qosmio.. ouch 3.5K
But their P30 were pretty cheap and slight cheaper than the Fujitsu N6010.
    I got my N6010 for 2.4K
Didnt look up dells Since I am all against them.

So Fujitsus are priced high, but ratherly low IMO.

All prices are approx and in Canadian.

The prices are what they are. I'd like an IBM X40 with all the trimmings, but I don't want to spend that much. Fujitsu's carry a premium price for quality. You didn't get ripped off by paying the same price others paid for the same Fujitsu laptop.

Couple months ago one of my bosses complained his computer was too slow so I went out and upgraded it to a 3ghz model. Then here comes 2 other bosses to question my purchase, saying that a $399 computer would have been good enough. You just have to know you did the right thing, listen to comments from the peanut gallery, and continue with your plan.
