I have a really wierd problem. I have a Fujitsu N3410 - have had it for quite some time.

A couple of days back I suddenly noticed that the sound is very low and muffled if the sound output is balanced equally to both speakers. But if I set it to one side the sound comes at previous volume.

I have RealTek HDA ALC260. I did not do any recent installs./upgrades.

Any ideas at all what could be causing this? I am completely stumped!
