    Hi,

I've got my T5010 few weeks ago and just realised this tablet seems to be warmer than it should.

Can anyone with Fujitsu T5010 and C2D T9400 processor confirm what are your temperature ranges? (when idling, normal use & 100% stress).

If my T5010 turns out to be a lemon, I'm going to send it back to Fujitsu
just want to make sure by knowing what is the 'normal' temperature for this product.

    Thanks in advance
    Razz

Yeah, a friend of mine also got T5010 with P series processor and his temp is more or less the same w/ u.

I'm wondering for other T5010 user with T series processor, T-series consume more watt & voltage, so I think it's not fair when we compare it with P series.

Thanks a lot for yor reply, btw. :D

EDIT: I've done some research on this forum, and found out that P series processor run a lot, lot, cooler than T series.

I haven't actually read anything to support that P9XXX series processors run a lot cooler in idle than the T9XXX series processors.
From the temps that people post that does not appear to be the case.
It seems that your problem is solved now though judging by your post in the hardware forum and your computer idles now around 40C-50C.

Of course there are different settings and using power saver, balanced mode or high performance model will give you slightly different idle temps. I can idle around 22-24C in power saver but this jumps to around 30C in high performance mode with my Sony SZ.

    @ Rachel,

Hmm.. Actually I didn't state P-series processors are running a lot cooler in idle state, I'm talking about average temperature in different states.

If you do a search using keyword like T9400 vs P8700, you'll see ppl said P series processor will run cooler (I think 'a lot' is just my exaggeration , my bad! )

Thinking logically, P-series uses less voltage and should also produce less heat, of course there are so many factors that not yet included, so my statement is kind of unjustified. :D

Thanks a lot for your reply :D I appreciate it.
