I have a stock digitizer pen acting strangely. It seems to register a held left click when it is above the screen and no buttons are pressed. I can sometimes get a right click to register, but it is very unreliable. I have updated drivers and even tried different OSes - the same behavior is seen with all of them.

I read somewhere that pressing too hard may damage the pen. Has anyone had experience with a Wacom pen enabled device failing in this way? I was thinking new nibs might solve the problem, but taking the nib almost all of the way out of the pen still shows this weird behavior. It's not under warranty, hopefully a new pen will fix it, not a new digitizer.

    Touch works fine BTW.

Exact issue here. I think there is a problem when the pen is not stored correctly (!), they do seem very fragile.
