just wondering if my XA-1526 would support the newer TL-66 cpu??

it runs without problems on both tl56 and tl60 cpus but wanted to know as for upgradability?

as far as the specs go the heat tolerance is the same as or maybe a degree lower than my 90 dye cpu because of them being a smaller dye ..65mns.

note manual only stated upto tl60 as tl64 and tl66 were not in production when laptop was purchased.

would the bios recognise the cpu as there isnt much info on the last bios update for newer cpu detection but i suppose it should just detect it like the tl60.

    any advice cheers.

1st is your CPU socket 1,CPU-Z should tell you. If so yes other than BIOS you should be good. I think you have a good shot at doing this!
