Wanted to say thanks for having this forum available. Was just about to order a Dell i9200 (so my wife could have her i8600 back [:I]) when you're posts gave me the push I needed to order the N6010. Looks like an awesome machine. Got it with 1 GB, 3 yr warr., 5400 rpm 60 gig HD, no tuner, dvd/cd-rw. Now just have to contain myself 'till I get it. Think that it will blow the Dell away for what I wanted it for (gamer, AC power almost all the time, stay at home)

Ahhh, excellent choice. I'm always amazed by the first time posters who make a decision without asking any questions. I suppose there's enough overlap though with everyone else posting. Good luck with it.

Jeff, You will be sooo happy when you open that box! You have made an excellent choice for your stated usage. I wouldn't want to tote one around all day, but then that's where the S6231 comes in. Sharing information and personal experiences (good or bad) is why we are all here. Helping each other to avoid costly pitfalls is what its all about. Regards, Ace [8D]

She shipped from Osaka Japan this morning, so I should have her Tues. Afternoon. I'll post my initial thoughts and some pics then.

Watana, ordered from Fujitsu direct, though after all I've read here, probably would have used portable one if did it again...just didn't have the knowledge to know if they were a safe bet then. My guess is yours will ship from Cal.
