I lurked these forums for over a month, and based mainly on the in-depth reviews found here, I narrowed my laptop quest down to the 3510 and 6010.

I was lucky enough to be able to go to Fry's and check out both units in person, and immediatley fell in love with the 17" display + full size keyboard.

This thing is just fantastic... i handed my 12" powerbook along to my wife and haven't looked back.

So thanks all for the usefull info...

1 Thing- the fans don't bother me at all, not sure what all the noise is about, bwahhahaha.
