The touchpad on my N3510 has stopped working. I do
not see the icon on the taskbar and cannot use the
scroll button or finger scrolling - it had all worked.

I've tried uninstall and reinstall and no change. Damn
I wish it had a Synaptics touchpad.

Any ideas on this is what it might be to get it working
again? There is only one Alps driver listed on
    Fujitsu's site.

Did you try START > CONTROL PANEL > MOUSE > GESTURES TAB to make sure everything is ok there?

You might try the Fn key with the F4 that has a mouse on it--I had problems and this helped a great deal!
