I just purchased a T3410. I'm having issues with the scrolling area of the touchpad.

Basically, when I tap a region on the right, even with the scrolling deactivated, the cursor jerks to the right. If I hold the tap, the cursor starts dancing left and right. This only happens on the far right end side of the touchpad. If I swipe through the right area, but starting from somewhere else on the touchpad, the problem does not arise. The scrolling does work, but only if I avoid the very right end, and multiple trials are sometimes necessary.

I updated some fujitsu drivers, but to no avail. Tried the synaptics driver, and the same problem occurs.

I really don't want to return it for that small issue and wait once more for 2 weeks to get a laptop back.

Any idea how I can fix it (hopefully not a hardware problem)?

    Thanks.

i believe your touchpad maybe bad. if touchpad jumps from one place to next? you need to replace touchpad.
