    Hello to everybody.

I am considering this notebook and had a few questions.

First, is the CPU dual-core, like the Samsung Q1 Ultra?

Second, can XP be installed via external DVD/CD drive? Does it run Vista well enough that this is not necessary? Are you satisfied with the overall performance? How is the WiFi's range?

    Third, how is battery life?

Where can I find one for $800?

How is the speaker on the unit?

Thanks to anyone who can help me :)

Don't think the CPU is dual core but I'm shocked at how well it runs XP and even Vista. I ordered the version with Vista business which comes with a copy of XP tablet. Vista ran pretty good but I just downgraded to XP which saved me about 10gb of harddrive space. Boot time is MUCH MUCH faster as well. Overall it is seems to have a little better performance over Vista.

Battery life is great in my opinion. Easily 4+ hours with heavy use and closer to 5 if you watch your screen brightness etc.

Speaker isn't great but isn't bad either.

I love my U810 so far. I recommend getting the black leather portfolio case from Fujitsu. It looks and feels fantastic. Gives the computer a leather bound planner appearance.

Sounds excellent. I am wondering, though...it seems like new Intel CPUs are around the corner. Is this a good options as of now?

    Thanks.

BTW, do you like the touchscreen, and how is the screen's overall quality?

I'm intersted in the U810 as well, just a few questions for anyone who used it. Does the keyboard seem too small for normal typing? I don't have big hands, just it does seem like the keybaord is very small, and it might be hard to type. Does Fujitsu have Win XP drivers for this laptop? I'm planning to install Win XP on it, but it seems like the U810 only comes with Vista, so I'm wondering if there are XP drivers at all. Thanks in advance.

Screen is excellent in my opinion.

If you order the U810 with Vista Business they will send you a disk with Windows XP and the drivers.
