Just ordered my N6110 from P1.....can't wait till it arrives.

I was wondering if anyone has upgraded or done a fresh install of XP Home to Pro. I know there is a lengthy procedure for the Sony's (which I came close to buying), just like to hear from anyone who may have done this on their N series Fujitsu.

Unless you log into a NT Domain Controller or are on a corporate network, I doubt it is worth it to upgrade to XP Pro. Fujitsu is known for keeping the bloatware to a minimum. Installing Pro isn't that much different than Home. Make sure you have all the drivers and utllities before starting. I'd recommend doing a fresh install as opposed to an upgrade. Good Luck.

I was thinking a fresh install would be best.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a router that works best with Fujitsu?

No problem doing a fresh install of a regular (not fujitsu's) copy of winXP.

Just format, install like you would do on any other computer, and finally use the driver and applications CD to install any missing drivers, and the hotkey tools, to be able to use the Fn keys.

As for the router, better ask that in the networking forum. and state that you have an intel wifi built in, because sometimes there appears to be problems between intel's wireless cards and some routers. Nothing to do specifically with fujitsu.
