    Upgrade processor in 6210?

    Can a Pentium M 770 (2.13GHz) or a Pentium M 780 (2.26GHz) be substituted for the Pentium M 750 (1.86 GHz) that comes with the Lifebook 6210?

    You'll get more of a performance boost from a faster hard drive or more memory. Plus you'll void your warranty. I doubt you'd a differnce.

    Yeah, I agree. Installing a processor involves a lot of disassembly and work. If not done properly it can be a big pain. Not really worth the upgrade from a 750 to a 770/780 unless you got the cpu for less/free.

    Plus the heat gain and battery drain...I see no reason for this.
