Ever since I installed and played UT2003, my screen size is reset at 640x480 at every boot. On top of that, I just got a bad screen error when the laptop entered standby. the whole screen went white, and then gradually the pixels died out, becoming black again. the computer was still on, i had to turn it off the hard way.

Whats going on? video card error? I have an Intel integrated card.

it's still doing it!! this time randomly, it's getting very annoying but also worrying. i hope it isn't a prequel to some serious error..

ok, it's now doing it at every restart. AVG gives me a system time error, and occasionally i get an svchost.exe error, probably due to a corrupt windows update.

could system time be a problem?

Maybe it could be a virus? And Zaz, UT could be the problem. I don't know. If you had a restore disc, you could try reinstalling everything to see if it is a software issue or if your computer is going bad! :(
