I've been a Newegg customer for several years and now was in the market for my first laptop. I wasn't too keen on Newegg's 7 dead pixel policy and after reading these forums, everyone recommended Portable one for Fujitsu Computers. Man you guys were right! I called to ask a few questions regarding the S6000 and S7000 laptops that Fujitsu customer support was not able to answer. I spoke to Tom twice, and each time he was very informative, not pushy and truthful. I called back a third time and spoke with Victor, and expressed my concern that if I get the s7000D (he told me the atheros outsells the intel wireless 20 to 1) I wouldn't be able to use my memory stick pro card, unless I get a 4 in one card reader that attaches to the PCMIA slot. He told me that if that was the only thing concerning me, he'd be able to "throw one in" for me at no charge (that part retails for 35 dollars FPCPCC01). Now thats awesome. I was told that I could have them perform a dead pixel test for me (it would increase my delivery time)or that if I found any dead pixels on my own I could ship it back for a replacement at no charge!!! Prior to my conversations with PortableOne I was debating between the Sony S580 and Fujitsu's S7020D. Obviously I just placed my order for the S7020D today! I hope their customer support will be as good in the future. :fujitsu:

Glad your happy with their service, and hope that the S7020 won't disappoint. :)

    P1 is absolutely great!

BTW moved your thread cause the other forum is actually for P1's brand of notebooks, such as the MX and UX.

P1 have been great with me. I'm really happy I chose them. I've dealt with big corporate 1800 numbers in the past such as Apple and HP. It's so nice to actually talk to the same person each time. They always pick up by the second ring and they remember me. :)

I've said it before but that is worth big $$$ in my book. For anyone that has talked to a uninterested customer service desk in India I'm sure they would agree. My P1 MX is keeping me happy. Thanks again P1..

I agree, I am planning on ordering an S7020 as well from P1 as I have had nothing but great customer service and they provide a better deal than the local retailers in Canada (even after shipping).

Another happy P1 customer... welcome to the club! I have made several purchases over the last year from P1 and continue to recommend them to friends, family and coworkers.

I sent an e-mail to P1 once and talk about speed! They replied courteously in about half an hour.

    Sounds like a good reseller.

They are very informative and patient with those of us who are just indecisive as heck. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

I'll buy my next machine from Ivan and company without a doubt.

I remember once Ivan answered my email a day later (I wish other companies answer that soon ). And he appologized more than once, and the reason was that they were moving out of their old store and into their current new one. Not that my email was for anything urgent!

I'd probably buy a fujitsu or a PortableOne, just based on their service. I'd rather pay more and avoid headaches and being pissed off at a laptop that I'll be using for a couple of years.

I truly think their customer service is unparalleled! We all hope we don't get a lemon, and no one who researches their purchase expects to get one, but if it happens, and I unfortunately know that it does, it is wonderful to have them stand behind you and go to bat with the manufacturer on your behalf. Their prices are good for what they sell, but even the ultimate bargain hunter in me would pay more for their service! Their own line of laptops (modified Asus machines) have gotten rave reviews, and I can't wait to get the UX next week.
