I'm about to buy a Fujitsu S7020D. I was thinking about just getting the 512MB RAM on it for now and upgrading it myself later to 1GB if I needed it. I was wondering if I installed the RAM myself will that void the Fujitsu warranty? I called Portable One but they only gave me the answer of they are qualified to install parts on the notebooks. Can anyone help me? Man, I wish they made the S7020 in widescreen!
Also I'm curious, what brand of RAM are in the Fujitsu S7020 notebooks? Thanks

"Everything but the memory will be covered and if you ever need to bring it into an ASP replace the memory with the original ones."
that's what Ivan talked me. -

hi, I need some help..
I did go to the Kingston website for searching suitable 512M memory.
IF I search for Laptop Fujitsu-Simens S7020D, it have KFJ-FPC165/512, about $110.
But if I choose DDR2 533 PC4200, I will find KVR533D2S4/512, it can be bought on Newegg at $53.xx.
The price is so different..I just wondering if anyone upgraded it before could share the experience?
Thanks
