I like customizing a lot of my electronics. I've successfully painted my samsung phone jet black. I want to do the same with my laptop back cover. Give it a new/clean look.

I am having trouble disassembling it. The screws come off easily on the inner screen but I still can't seem to detach the cover. Anybody have any advise or links to be referred to?

u'd be surprised how many people mod their electronics....

it's not hard to do, u just need to isolate the parts and mask them with tape....i just want to do this safely with the lcd portion though.

If it has rubber bumpers on the inside of the lid, try removing those to find the screws underneath. I know on the P-series this is done.

Well to tell the truth I also have been toying with the idea of
    customizing my Amilo L1310G :D
I am looking for some nice pinewood logs that I can fit all round the Amilo .This would make it inconspicious here in the Blackforest.I could also have it fitted with Cuckoo sounds :D
    ......................................
    ANY BETTER IDEAS
