Anyone own this modal? As i understand it the water cooling option is only available in japan or something. It would be nice to see how it works. Does it negate the need for a noisy fan i wonder?

Wow that machine is ancient!
I searched for a while but didn't find any good info on the water cooling. There is just this pic:

The pump probably makes a bit of noise, and from the looks of it it's external.
Here's a DIY liquid cooled ASUS G2S from a few years ago: http://forum.notebookreview.com/asu...cial-g2s-a1-owners-lounge-74.html#post6743160 -
That is too bad, seems like it would be a neat gadget to have, not too many water cooled laptops out there. Maybe ill have to find someone who lives in japan.
That asus mod is pretty cool but too custom, doubt i could reproduce it. -

And here's Asetek's project for the Alienware M18x line:

This Fujitsu is pretty old indeed, and probably just an expo prototype. Here are some more pics. Edit: It seems that they have more than one watercooled laptop, but none of them is released, as far as I know.
That's a nice one - M1330 watercooling. Watercooled at home, air - everywhere else. -
Hmm, makes me wonder if it was ever released at all with the option. Guess it will be awhile before we see any real progress in this area. I will have to keep my eye on the asetek one though heh.
