I went away on vacation for 2 weeks, came back and the keyboard on my Lifebook is completely screwed up. It's to the point that it's not useable (thankfully I have the desktop to fall back on.) I have checked normal things like number lock and that doesn't appear to be the problem. When I type the top row of letters (QWERTYUIOP{}|) here is what comes up: 2qw5derztyuiop[c]\x The space key does a space then a 7, and the arrow keys do all sorts of weird stuff. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong with the thing?

it could be a partially disconnected keyboard cable. maybe try reseating it? beyond that, i don't know what else is possible besides getting it repaired.
