I need a laptop with a built in Texas Instruments firewire chipset for pro audio use.
Please could someone that has one, preferably with T8100/300, 9300 series processors go to system properties/device manager and check what it says for the IEEE 1394 bus host controller. Local stores don't havE it in stock so unfortunately can't check that myself.

    Thank you!

Would also like to find out what firewire chipset the Xi2550 has? Interested especially if someone has the T9300 model.

    Thanks in advance.
