    Hi,

    What's the D for like in P7000 and P7000D?

I tried to find it online... didn't figure out.

    Thanks

I believe the difference is the Atheros wireless card. In addition, since it is used instead of the Intel Wireless card, the Centrino label does not apply.

dml is correct. In the past it was a big deal, but now that Intel is supporting 802.11a with their new cards, the advantage to using the Atheros card goes away.

I was under the impression that the Atheros card was better than the Intel card, in terms of range and how weak a signal that it could pick up. Fact or fiction?

I think that was true up until the new Intel card released. Of course it's not in any Fujitsu's yet.
