I wasnt sure whether to post this here or in the software forum, but I have a new S7020D and want to know the CPU temperature. I downloaded MobileMeter, but it wont tell me the CPU temp. It says it cannot measure the cpu temp on this system? I looked in the bios to see if my cpu temp is listed and it isnt. So can anyone offer me any advice.
BTW I do not have centrino software since my Wireless card is an Atheros.

I have tried Motherboard Monitor, Speed Fan, and Mobile Meter attempting to know the CPU temp of my S6231, all without success.

I thought that maybe the motherboard was not ACPI capable (it is) or that Windows installation didn't detect the mobo's ACPI capability (it did)- both are requirements for a temp monitoring program.

So I guess we are S.O.L.

I have no problems reading the temp on my wifes S7020, which should be identical to the S7020D in this regard.

    I use NHC

I installed NHC on my S6231 but still no CPU temp sensor sensed.

    Oh well.

CPU temperature sensor is either dead or Fujitsu did not install it. My Compaq X1000 did not have it.
