I am planning on purchasing the S6120D and was wondering if some things can be clarified on the wifi. I realize this machine is not badged with centrino because it doesn't have the Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 (802.11b). In the specs page,

    http://www.fujitsu.ca/products/notebooks/lifebook_s_series/s6120d_II/specifications.html

it only has the description "Integrated wireless LAN 802.11b/g".

    My questions are:
    a) What brand this is and if its as good as the "IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 2100B"?
    b) The fact that its not centrino, will this unknown brand wifi decrease battery life?
    c) Is this model's wifi - "Integrated wireless LAN 802.11b/g" the same as the IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 2200BG? (Speed wise)

    a) Fujitsu uses the Broadcom card in most units
    b) No, this will not affect battery life in any sort of noticable way
    c) Yes, a protocol is a protocol.

The 6120 is a strong unit. They are releasing a new model with Bluetooth though, so keep that in mind if BT is important to you.
