Hey guys, any idea how to get that windows wireless strength meter to show up in the task tray? On my toshiba which has the atheros adapter I can get it while accessing the atheros utility and then choosing it in options.
My s7110 however has the intel wireless (after I realized what I'd done it was too late to call them and change it) and I can't find that damn meter anywhere. I've uninstalled the Intel Wireless Pro so only windows has anything to do with my wireless. If I double click my wireless connection in Network Connections, the mete is there in the properties window but I can't get it to appear in the task tray.
I also know this is possible with the Intel adapter since my friends s7010 was showing it and he was running the intel pro as well. Can anyone help me? It would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I use Vista Icon Pack which provides new icons and i can see the signal strenght in the wireless icon in the systray -
Yeah, but that's Vista. I specifically wanted XP Pro. Don't want Vista. And I know that XP has the icon as well but finding it is another story!
