    Hi,

    Not too long ago I bought a Xa 1526 laptop. This came with a Vista Home Preinstall. I'm more of a XP man myself so I installed XP on it.

    But the problems start when I start looking for drivers, there are no Windows XP drivers available on the Fuijtsu home site, so now I’m looking for some nice website's with the drivers I need. Help would be appreciated! :)

    Hm the Xa1526 is available with XP drivers, just check support.fujitsu-siemens.com... Or check out support.fujitsu-siemens.de.

    I have an xi 1526 and i need an urgent opinion. The problem with it is that it works very hard and it freezes even mp3s when i am installing a game, extracting , and while i'm using multiple aplications. is that normal ? it works harder than my old laptop. what could it be? the 160 gb wd? if i buy 2 hdd and make a raid will it solve that problem ?I've updated bios .I finally installed winxp after 5 days of work, and i am getting sick of this notebook, and if you can tell me any software for it. :confused:

    If your laptop is indeed a Xi1526 (not a Xa1526) than take a look at the threads regarding Xi1546 and Xi1554.
    They seem to have the same chassis as your laptop (only the video card is different).
    You'll find there a lot of answers to overheating questions.
