    hey all
just wanted to quickly ask this q: when the battery indicator is flashing orange what does it mean? Presumably i thought it meant the battery is finished charging but why tell me that....i wanna run it from the mains anyway? Also is it normal for the battery adapter to get V hot as in too hot to handle?

So is it ok to work from the mains because apparently you should let it run down its charge when its full to prolong the battery's life but then what if i want to run it from the mains?

I think im quite confused, some clarity would be nice!
    cheers!

from what i know there here are your answers
anyone feel free to correct me...
when its flashing orange its charging...when its finished charging then its a solid orange...

    my mains adapter gets hot....

and as for the last part im pretty sure what you said is right...to prolong it let it run it down compleltly before recharging...

if you wanna run it from the mains jus take the battery out...and it will be fine...

Yep: when it is orange it is charging the battery. When it is finished it is, at least on my notebook, it is green. But that can be different.

And your English is a bit hard to understand, sorry :(

if you flip the laptop u'll see the battery at the back and a latch to release it... jus pull the latch and pull the battery out at the same time....i dont know about bypassing it with the battery in...
